Visting Artist Lecture – Farah Al Qasimi


Artist Farah Al Qasimi will present a lecture in the Visiting Artist series on Wednesday, November 14th beginning at 6:40 p.m. 


Farah Al Qasimi (b. Abu Dhabi, 1991) is an artist and musician living between New York and Dubai. She received her MFA from the Yale School of Art in 2017 and is currently teaching at the Rhode Island School of Design. She has participated in residencies at the Burren College of Art, the Delfina Foundation, and the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture. Recent exhibitions include More Good News at Helena Anrather (NYC), No to the Invasion: Breakdowns and Side Effects (CCS Bard), and Coming Up Roses at The Third Line (Dubai).

The Visiting Artist Lecture Series is organized by the Rutgers MFA program and includes weekly lectures, studio visits and critiques by luminaries working across a wide spectrum of mediums.
